A local high school student has completed his project for becoming an Eagle Scout.  He has renovated Anna’s Garden, originally created by the daughter of Anna Willits, in honor of her mother who had a garden to the east of the Pierce-Willits House where you can still see the stepping stones to her original garden.

Anna Willits was married to Frank Willits, who purchased this farm in 1885.  The Willits family was the third of only three families who lived and worked the farm until the school purchased the property in 1976.

The museum will be open this day from 1 to 4, with the dedication immediately following.
